Croydon Borough Swimming Association (CBSA) was established with the following objectives:
1. To promote and encourage the teaching and practice of swimming within the Borough.
2. To promote and protect the interests of the clubs using the pools within the Borough of Croydon.
3. To act as a liaison between affiliated clubs and the Croydon Pools authorities.
4. To promote and organise swimming championships.
